Nixon: A Presidency Revealed is a feature-length History Channel special that takes a fresh look at one of America's most controversial leaders more than thirty years after his infamous resignation.  Drawing on previously unseen footage and only recently released audio tapes, the film sheds new light on the man who brought both progress and shame to the presidential office.  This searching profile re-evaluates commonly held beliefs about the once-promising, but ultimately marred, political career of the 37th U.S. President.

Some of Nixon's greatest achievements included ending U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War; forging historic peacekeeping relations with the Soviet Union, China, and the Middle East; and implementing social and environmental initiatives at home.  However, Nixon's accomplishments were ultimately overshadowed by his secrecy, lies, and gross abuse of power, which undermined America's faith in the integrity of the presidency.

Through exhaustively researched and dramatically presented archival materials, as well as exclusive in-depth interview, Nixon: A Presidency Revealed explores the unlikely origin, the thrilling promise, and the crushing downfall of the 37th President of the United States.  Using newly released White House recordings and telephone calls, home movies, and daily recordings of Chief of Staff H. R. Haldeman, the film goes inside the Nixon administration to understand how the President's hatred's and mistrust of his own staff led to ruin.
